The Mystery of Jessica Benson by C.K. Laurence
Thoughts Before Reading:
I got this book free in exchange for an honest review.
Jessica Benson is a beautiful young woman who every guy wants and every girl wishes she could be.
At the moment she is the girlfriend of the Miami team quarterback, Kyle Sands. When he first met Jessica he fell for her hard.
But since then he realizes that she is not the person for him. There are too many differences and she treats him like crap. He’s done.
Jessica stats a big argument and makes a huge scene. Kyle leaves her at her house, feeling older and wiser.
The next day Detective Karen Brandt is viewing Jessica’s dead body and investigating the case. A case that leads her to her brother’s old pal and her old crush, Kyle Sands.
It’s up to Karen to solve this case. Kyle insists he is innocent but is he? Will she be able to keep her old feelings out of it? Will she discover the truth?
Thoughts After Reading:
I hated this book.
I thought that it was boring, the characters were hard to connect to, and after wasting my time reading the first few chapters I just quit and couldn’t continue.
I wish I had passed on this book instead of accepting it.wish I had passed on this book instead of accepting it. I don’t know how many times I can right that. PASS ON IT!
