The Black Echo (Harry Bosch #1) by Michael Connelly
I actually wasn’t too interested in this book but read it because I wanted to read one later in the series, but though it best to start at the beginning.
Harry is a LAPD Detective and is called in when a body is found in a dam.
Things become personal for him when he discovers that the dead body is Billy Meadows, a fellow tunnel rat, those who performed underground search and destroy missions, during the Vietnam War.
Now it’s personal for Harry and he is going to find the killer no matter what.
Thoughts after reading:
As you can tell from my short description, I didn’t like this book.
I thought it was boring and found myself unable to connect to the characters or the author’s style. Zero stars from me.
